My project has begun and I thought the best way to start would be by steam cleaning my car. Thanks to my lovely mother-in-law and her company Ganduglia Trucking – she allowed me to use their industrial steam/pressure cleaner. I tried using an engine degreaser that worked a little bit, but the steam/pressure cleaner worked really well. I also used “Simple Green” on the engine and hood after steam cleaning the car.
I read previously on the internet of a guy who used “Tire Foam” on his engine and said it worked really well to protect the internal components and wiring. After cleaning the engine, I tried the tire foam and it worked beautifully. I have posted some before and after photos of both the hood and the engine.
